We are always in need of wonderful people to give forever homes to the animals we have rescued. Below you can meet some of the animals currently in our care.

Tilly, Willow, and Holly are the sweetest girls! They're 3-4 years old and gaining confidence daily! These 3 beautiful girls are looking for new homes with experienced owners.

They came to us scared of everything, not knowing how to walk on a lead, not knowing how to play…thanks to the amazing team at Bankend Kennels they have come on leaps and bounds!
They need somebody to continue their socialising and training. They haven’t had much life experience and take a little time to trust but once they do they are the most happy, playful, loving girls.

Bettie
Aww, look at our beautiful older lady! Isn't she adorable? You can see she's a very wise girl.
So, our Bettie was a stray who was handed into one of the local vets we work closely with. She had a swollen tummy, investigations revealed nothing untoward. But she does have a few little shaved patches now!
She's a little hard of hearing, and likes to sleep a lot. She likes her grub, doesn't have many teeth left, and will let you know when she's ready to be petted! She's been around other cats without issue and loves her foster carer's 10 year old niece.
She's a wise older lady looking for a comfy retirement home. Ideally with older children who will respect her need for naps. An open fire would be good, but not essential! Cozy beds and blankets will do nicely! She loves a bit of VetBed!
We're unsure of Bettie's age, ladies never tell! She may be a little older than 12 though. Or younger. She's definitely a senior kitizen though.

Anya
This glamorous glamorpuss is Anya. She's spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and just wants a home of her own. She'd prefer an adult only home, with no other pets.
She's not fond of being handled, but loves fusses and playing. She was in a home with 2 other cats that she didn’t get along with. Now she just wants her own home where she can chill and do her own thing. She's a quirky girl, she likes to nibble fingers! Her previous owners had a nip or two off her, but she haven’t tried that with her foster carers – yet!
She's an indoors only girl, and she's not all that good at keeping her fur as beautiful as it should be, so will need someone who has the time to brush her. Not that she likes being brushed much.

apollo - reserved
Our stunning little Apollo! He's such a handsome chap! He's 3 years old, just started his vaccinations, and is freshly neutered.
He's a bit of a timid guy at first, but he's gaining confidence daily. He can be a little dominant with other dogs, so he's looking for a home where he's the only good boy and doesn't have to compete for attention.
We're looking for an active home for this boy, preferably with people who know the breed, as Patterdale's tend to be a law unto themselves!

casper - reserved
This gorgeous young man was found as an injured stray. He was taken to the vets, patched up, neutered, and is now ready to find a new home. We've tried to find his owner, he wasn't microchipped, no one came forward to claim him.
Casper is a pretty handsome little fella! He was quite shy to begin with, guess he's experienced some stuff living as a stray, some not so nice humans chasing him away. But he's becoming more confident and friendly!
He might be ok to live with another friendly cat, but it'll take time for him to settle. He'd probably prefer to live with older children, who'll play with him and teach him what life is about!

BOY GUINEA PIGS
Introducing our handsome little furry potatoes! Though some folks might call them guinea pigs! Or even giggly pigs!
These lovely little lads have landed in our care! They're a little skittish at the moment, they're not used to being handled and cuddled just yet. They get super excited and noisy when they hear veggies being prepared!
They have been used to living in a large group, but we're looking to rehome them in pairs, or maybe a small group, or a single boy could be introduced to a gang of girlies, as they are neutered!
